Leonard Fournette Has Been Suspended From Buffalo Bills Today…

The Buffalo Bills announced on Saturday that they have elevated running back Leonard Fournette to the active roster ahead of Sunday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Fournette, who signed with the Bills in late October, will appear in just his second game of the regular season.
In his only prior appearance, a 24-22 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 22, the 28-year-old had five carries for 20 yards.
He was also on kick-returning duties, something he has never done before in the NFL.
Long before coming to Buffalo, Fournette was the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The former LSU Tiger spent three seasons in Jacksonville, rushing for 2,631 yards and 17 touchdowns with two 1,000-yard seasons.
Despite his overall solid production, the Jaguars released him in 2020 after failing to find a trade partner.
After that, Fournette then went to the other side of Florida by signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He also spent three seasons in Tampa Bay, rushing for 1,847 yards and 17 touchdowns.
The Buccaneers released him last offseason as a cost-saving measure.
With fellow running backs James Cook, Latavius Murray and Ty Johnson already on the active roster, it remains to be seen how many snaps Fournette will actually get on Sunday, if he does indeed suit up.
