WR Jordan Allen commits to Louisville football

A three-star talent from Buford, Georgia, joins Louisville’s 2025 recruiting class as their fifth recruit.

Louisville football’s class of 2025 recruits now includes a fifth player. Jordan Allen, a wide receiver from Buford, Georgia, High School, declared his commitment to the Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon.

Out of several scholarship offers, including those from Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Clemson, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Mississippi State, NC State, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, UCF, USF, and Utah, the 5-foot-8, 170-pound three-star player chose to pledge to Louisville.

The weekend of May 31 is Allen’s formal visitation date.

Allen caught 35 passes for 588 yards and two scores while a junior at Buford. He also gained 168 yards while returning 21 punts.

According to 247Sports, Allen is ranked as the No. 97 wide receiver in the country and the No. 65 prospect in Georgia.

In Louisville’s 2025 recruiting class, Allen joins quarterback Mason Mims, defensive lineman Dillon Smith, and offensive linemen Jake Cook and Gradey Anthony.
