Initial injury reports from Chicago Bears…

Because the Minnesota Vikings and the c aren’t meeting until Monday night, we had to wait until today to get the first injury reports from both teams. Thankfully. . .see what I did there. . .the injury list for the Vikings seems to have gotten shorter in length compared to what we’ve seen the past couple of weeks. Let’s take a look at what both teams have to offer on their initial reports.
A trio of starters on the initial report for the Bears in Blasingame, Foreman, and Patrick. Blasingame was listed as a full participant so I’m assuming he’ll have no issues being ready for Monday night, but it will be interesting to see how the Bears shuffle their offensive line if Patrick (listed as their starting center) and Foreman have to sit out. The Bears have had a lot of injury issues at the running back spot already this season.
Every player for the Vikings participated in practice for the opening session in some form. The Vikings still seem to be leaning towards keeping Jefferson out of this one and waiting until after the bye to officially get him back onto the field, but we’ll see how that changes between now and Monday. The Vikings look to be getting both of their backup quarterbacks healthy as well with Hall finally getting out of concussion protocol and Mullens serving as the backup last week.
Those are the first injury reports of the week for the Vikings and the Bears ahead of Monday Night Football, everyone. We’ll keep these updated as we go through the rest of the week up until we get the final reports on Saturday.
