Report: The Boston Bruins key player is been suspended from all sports for placing a bets against…..

The Boston Bruins made a huge trade right before Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. Former Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark was dealt to the Ottawa Senators for the 25th pick of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft, Joonas Korpisalo, and Mark Kastelic.
Naturally, the first-rounder and Korpisalo have been discussed the most regarding the Bruins’ return, for different reasons.
However, while Kastelic is more of a depth addition, it may indicate that one of the Bruins’ free agents —Pat Maroon — could not return to Boston next year.
Kastelic, 25, plays a similar style of game to Maroon.
The 6-foot-3 forward is primarily known for his size and immense physicality, so it is fair to wonder if he may be a player the Bruins have added in preparation for a potential Maroon departure.
Things are looking a bit crowded in the Bruins’ bottom six with Kastelic joining the club.
The Bruins have him, Jakub Lauko, Justin Brazeau, Johnny Beecher, and Morgan Geekie all signed for next season.
In addition, Jesper Boqvist is still under team control as a restricted free agent, while the Bruins are aiming to re-sign Danton Heinen. Does Maroon still fit?
Ultimately, while I believe the Bruins should not close the door on bringing back Maroon, it is hard not to wonder about his future after they added a fellow tough guy in Kastelic.
This will be something to pay attention to over the next few days as we rapidly get closer to July 1.
