GOOD NEWS FROM LOS ANGELES RAMS…

The Los Angeles Rams will kick off Week 16’s festivities on Thursday Night Football when they host the New Orleans Saints.
The game features massive playoff implications in the NFC Wild Card race. Fortunately for Los Angeles, Tuesday’s injury report had some good news in store.
Veteran right tackle Rob Havenstein, who missed Week 15’s win over the Washington Commanders with a groin injury, was listed as a full participant. Receiver Tutu Atwell, held out from Sunday’s action with a concussion, held the same designation.
Head coach Sean McVay made a point to use the short week as extra time for his injured offensive players, rather than stressing the two with a couple of games in five days.
Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon (groin) and running back Ronnie Rivers (knee) were also listed as full participants. The latter’s impact is far from guaranteed given the rise of Kyren Williams, but Witherspoon’s presence will be appreciated in the secondary, especially if Saints receiver Chris Olave (limited, ankle) is good to go.
It’s important to note that the Rams held a walkthrough on Tuesday, so these designations were merely an estimate. Nevertheless, those contributors are largely expected to suit up on Thursday.
Contrarily, right tackle Joe Notebook – who replaced Havenstein at right tackle on Sunday – is dealing with a foot injury.
He was listed as a “Did Not Participate in Practice” (DNP) on both Monday and Tuesday. Monday’s injury report also provided estimations, as the Rams did not practice.
