Alabama have just made shocking announcement about…

Welcome to BamaCentral’s “Just a Minute,” a daily video series featuring Alabama beat writers Austin Hannon and Katie Windham.
Twice a week, the duo will pair up to provide their take on a topic concerning the Crimson Tide or the landscape of college sports.
Austin Hannon: Austin Hannon joined the BamaCentral team in December 2022. He graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in sports media and brings a ton of journalism experience.
Hannon is the former sports editor of The Crimson White, the University’s school newspaper. Hannon’s coverage focuses primarily on football, men’s basketball and baseball.
Katie Windham: Katie Windham is the assistant editor and senior writer for BamaCentral, primarily covering football, basketball, gymnastics, softball and more.
She is a two-time graduate of The University of Alabama and has covered a variety of Alabama sports since 2019 for outlets like The Tuscaloosa News.
The Crimson White and the Associated Press before joining BamaCentral full time in 2021.
Windham has covered College Football Playoff games, the Women’s College World Series, SEC tournaments and championships in multiple sports and March Madness.
Robbie Fowler has been sacked by Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah, despite making an unbeaten start to the season.
The Liverpool legend, 48, was appointed by the Saudi First Division League side back in June and leaves them in second position, just one point behind leaders Al-Orobah.
Despite winning six and drawing two of their eight games under Fowler, Al-Qadsiah released a short statement to announce the decision.
It read: “The club appreciates the coach’s efforts and professionalism during the previous period and wishes him all the success in his professional career.”
On Monday, Nick Saban explained how the unit could improve after the 34-24 loss to the Longhorns.
“We didn’t have a lot of success, the kind of success that we’d like to have on third down,” Saban said.
“And I think that’s something that we need to improve. We didn’t do a great job of covering them.
Sometimes you get coverage sacks, so we didn’t cover them long enough that the quarterback couldn’t get the ball out of his hand quickly.
We didn’t affect the quarterback in the game and we all need to improve on that.”
Texas did a solid job blocking Turner and Braswell Saturday.
Turner only had one quarterback hurry, while Braswell had none.
Alabama hurried Ewers just three times throughout the game.
On Monday, Turner said he and the group expects the focus on them to continue.
“Of course, me and Chris Braswell, a lot of other guys on the D-line,” he said of opposing teams’ focal points.
“It’s gonna be a lot of max protect, seven in protection…Running back chips and stuff like that. Just different schemes to try and slow us down.”
