Am sorry: Reason why I left Tennessee volunteers…

Tennessee has lost yet another defensive back to the transfer portal.

Former Georgia Tech transfer DB and former Volunteers starting safety Wesley Walker had news break early on Friday that he would be entering the transfer portal.

Walker is a 6’1, 200-pound safety from around the Ensworth High School area in Nashville, Tennessee.

He started at safety alongside long-term starter Jaylen McCollough.

McCollough is out of eligibility, and Walker is now in the transfer portal, meaning the Volunteers will now have to attempt to replace both of their starting safeties.

Although that may not seem like an issue, the Vols have had many transfers in the DB room hit the portal.
