HE MAY NOT PLAY AGAIN: Las Vegas Raiders Player…

Rookie tight end Michael Mayer will miss his second straight game as the Las Vegas Raiders try to keep their playoff hopes alive Sunday at the Indianapolis Colts. Kickoff is set for 10 am. PT.
Las Vegas interim head coach Antonio Pierce said Friday morning that the second-round pick from Notre Dame is more than likely not going to play because of a toe injury that has kept him from playing or practicing the past two weeks. He was ruled out Friday afternoon.
Pierce also told reporters that starting tailback Josh Jacobs will be a game-time decision Sunday with a quad injury.
He was later listed as doubtful to play on the injury report.
Jacobs has missed the past two games with a quad injury. Second-year running back Zamir White had 145 yards rushing against the Chiefs and will start again if Jacobs can’t play.
Raiders could be easing Jacobs, who may be in his final days as a Raider, along with the performance of White.
Mayer is a concern as he has become a reliable target for quarterback Aidan O’Connell.
Austin Hooper is expected to start in Mayer’s place.
Raiders’ center Andre James (ankle) and tackle Jermaine Eluemunor (knee) are questionable. Left tackle Kolton Miller is off the injury report after dealing with a shoulder injury for six weeks.
For the Colts, star wide receiver Michael Pittman has been cleared from a concussion and will play. Backup running back Zack Moss is out.
