Leeds United

Very sad: Leeds united 7 key players have been announced…

Leeds United are back in action on Friday, and for the last time in 2023. The Whites make the trip to the West Midlands to take on fellow promotion hopefuls West Brom, and it’s a West Brom side who are just one position and six points worse off at this stage.

Daniel Farke’s men lost to Preston away from home last time out, and they will be desperate to bounce back with a statement away win here after losing ground on the top two. Ahead of the Hawthorns clash, we have rounded up all the latest injury news surrounding both clubs.

Corberan has said: “On Tuesday he still had pain, so now we need to see how he reacts to the pain because it’s not something that is a muscle injury. The kick was too aggressive and he cannot move his back.”

Dike could make his return from an eight-month Achilles injury, but Corberan has hinted that the medical team may play it safe. He said: “Let’s see with the training – I will push my medical staff and they will push me back, 100 per cent.”

Shackleton is expected to return in January. Farke has said: “Also (Jamie) Shackleton it is too soon, he’s not been in training so we’ll see how he develops.”
