Celtic FC New Positive Transfer and Signing In……

After confirming the deal for winger Nicolas Kuhn, Celtic might be edging closer to adding another name to Brendan Rodgers’ squad this month.
It’s not a striker or a left-back, but a midfield player from South Korea’s top tier.
When everyone is fit, Celtic’s midfield is pretty strong, with Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley the main guys, whilst Paulo Bernardo has come to the fore in recent weeks.
But the depth is lacking and now The Daily Record reports that Celtic have held talks with FC Gwangju midfielder, Ho-yeon Jeong.
It is said that there is a ‘good chance’ a move for the 23-year-old could progress before the January transfer window slams shut.
In a way, his absence proved to be a blessing in disguise for someone like Bernardo because he has now made that midfield place his own.
But, on paper, it could be argued that Hatate is Celtic’s best player, the skipper is ever-reliable, whilst O’Riley has been the best player in Scotland this season.
All in all, when everyone is back fit and raring to go, then the manager has some big calls to make.
And you will hope that if Ho-yeon Jeong does arrive, then he adds more depth in quality to the middle of the park.
