News Now From Texas Longhorns As They Eye Alabama Transfer Portal….

The Texas Longhorns are on the hunt for a tight end in the transfer portal. Just a few days ago, former Stanford tight end Ben Yurosek was reported to have a visit scheduled to Austin.

Now, a second tight end target has popped up on the radar, and this time he’s from Alabama.

Amari Niblack, who is expected to visit Austin in the coming days, according to reports, was once a four-star recruit and made a significant impact by securing 20 passes for a total of 327 yards with four touchdowns.

His stellar performance positioned him as the third-leading receiver for the Crimson Tide, highlighting his valuable role within the team’s dynamic offensive lineup.

In Sarkisian’s offensive scheme, Niblack emerges as an exceptional fit, poised to be the top receiving tight end target. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Florida native possesses a rare combination of elite athleticism, a substantial catch radius, and an impressive ability to gain yards after the catch. These qualities make him a nightmare matchup for opposing defenses, adding a dynamic dimension to the team’s offensive strategy.

In a significant move, Texas secured No. 1 wide receiver Isaiah Bond from the transfer portal on Saturday, and there’s a chance that his former teammate Niblack might follow suit.

Additionally, the Longhorns are actively pursuing the recently de-committed five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams, who parted ways with Alabama following Nick Saban’s retirement.
