GREEN BAY

Injury News : Top Players In Critical Condition …..

The Green Bay Packers listed cornerback Jaire Alexander, running back A.J. Dillon, linebacker Isaiah McDuffie uhh and punter Daniel Whelan as questionable and ruled out linebacker Kingsley Enagbare on the final injury report before playing the San Francisco in the NFC Divisional Round.

How will the injury situation affect Saturday’s showdown at Levi’s Stadium?

Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report:

CB Jaire Alexander (ankle): He didn’t practice on Wednesday or Thursday. It’s certainly possible that Alexander will need to get through a pre-game warmup on the field at Levi’s Stadium on Saturday before the Packers know if he can play or not. Corey Ballentine is the expected backup. David Long Jr. is an elevation option from the practice squad.

RB A.J. Dillon (neck): He’s missed two straight games and only returned to practice on Thursday, but the Packers might have him available come Saturday. Patrick Taylor and Emanuel Wilson have been the backup options. It’s unclear if the Packers would have four running backs active on Saturday, so they need to know if Dillon can contribute or not.

LB Isaiah McDuffie (neck): He practiced in a limited capacity the past two days. Quay Walker and De’Vondre Campbell are both healthy, so McDuffie is more of a third option and special teamer, but he’s played quality snaps for Joe Barry’s defense all year.

P Daniel Whelan (illness): LaFleur said he expects Whelan, who was added to the injury report on Thursday, to be fine and play Saturday.
