Breaking News: Patrick Mahomes lovely daughter Confirmed dead some few minutes ago…….

The back-to-back reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs aren’t taking a conservative approach as they begin their quest for their third straight title.

Per ESPN’s Adam Teicher, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Saturday’s preseason opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars will see Kansas City’s starters, including star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, play through the entirety of the first quarter.

Most NFL teams tend to limit the amount of time key players spend on the field during the preseason.

Before the preseason was shortened from four games to three games, the third game historically served as the “dress rehearsal” for the starters to get some significant action in preparation for the regular season.

The Chiefs are hoping to complete the first three-peat in NFL history. Since Mahomes took over as the starting quarterback in 2018, Kansas City has been the measuring stick for the rest of the league.

Following their win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII in February, the Chiefs were able to keep most of the band together while adding talent in key areas.

The team re-signed star defensive tackle Chirs Jones to a massive extension.

Star tight end Travis Kelce was rumored to be considering retirement, but he made it clear that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

Kansas City added some explosiveness on the outside by signing wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and selecting speedy wideout Xavier Worthy with the 28th pick in this year’s draft.

Mahomes will certainly enjoy having more weapons around him this season, and Reid’s preseason strategy will give them an early chance to work on their chemistry.
