Breaking News :Tyrod Taylor confirmed Dead Now…..

Not too long ago, I wrote about whether or not the New York Giants should target Caleb Williams or Drake Maye in the NFL Draft since the Giants, at the time, were slated to pick in the top three. Fast forward to today, and the Giants now hold the sixth pick in the draft, and the conversation for the top two quarterbacks has changed to the top three options with LSU’s Jayden Daniels rising on draft boards.

Dexter Lawrence named to PFWA All-NFC Team

Defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence continues to rack up accolades following his dominant 2023 campaign.

On Monday, Lawrence was named to the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA) All-NFC Team for the second consecutive season.

The fifth-year lineman was once again one of the most dominant interior defensive linemen in the NFL this season. He registered 4.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, 21 quarterback hits and two passes defensed to go with his 53 total tackles (32 solo). He did this despite missing the game against the Patriots and playing limited snaps in the final five games of the season.

Lawrence also recorded 65 total pressures on the season, which topped his previous career-high of 63 set last year.

Since the conclusion of the regular season, Lawrence has found himself on the list of this year’s top players from numerous outlets. He was named second-team All-Pro by the Associated Press in addition to making the NFLPA’s Players’ All-Pro Team, both for the second consecutive season. This came after he was named to his second straight Pro Bowl, as well.

A few weeks ago, the 26-year-old was also named to Pro Football Focus’ All-Pro Team.

“He’s a really good football player. He’s dominant in the interior part of the defense,” coach Brian Daboll said in his weekly sit-down with Giants.com before the season finale. “I would say a lot of things set him apart. He’s got great size, length, athletic ability, quickness, power and explosion. That’s why he’s getting recognized, because he’s an exceptional football player, but he’s an even better person.”
