Joe Milton has Departed From Tennessee Volunteers Today

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and linebackers coach Brian Jean-Mary stopped by Forney High School in the Lone Star State on Wednesday to check on inside linebacker Kelvion Riggins.
According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Riggins is the No. 227 prospect in the 2025 class and will make his college commitment on Friday.
Many believe Riggins’s decision is down to Tennessee and Texas A&M.
He tripped to Knoxville, Tennessee, twice during 2022, once for a summer camp and the other for Tennessee’s historic win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Riggins has an extensive relationship with Texas A&M’s campus, but the recent coaching change has shaken things up.
The Vols landed Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre on Monday morning, a building block for their 2025 class.
Tennessee’s coaching staff believes they can build a strong class around MacIntyre on both sides of the football.
They already have three defensive commits in the secondary, a trio of corners from Milton High School.
They’re looking to add more and are quite interested in Riggins moving forward.
Quarterback Joe Milton III has all the tools to become a successful player at the next level, but it’s about putting it all together.
NFL scouts are higher on Milton this offseason than last, but he still has some work to do.
Kiper ranks Milton as his No. 9 quarterback ahead of the Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, which Milton will participate in.
Finally, tight end McCallan Castles checked in as Kiper’s No. 8 fullback/H-back in the class.
