Manchester City midfielder has joined the Hammers on a loan…

West Ham United have confirmed the signing of Kalvin Phillips on loan until the end of the season.
The Manchester City midfielder had signed from Leeds United in the summer of 2022 but has since only made 16 Premier League appearances, with 14 of those coming as a substitute.
Phillips, 28, will bolster David Moyes’ midfield options, with West Ham currently sixth in the Premier League. He will wear the No 11 shirt.
“I’m really pleased to be here,” Phillips told the club’s official website.
“There’s always been a lot of speculation about me moving to West Ham, so I’m really excited to get going now.

“There’s so much to look forward to in the second half of the season for the Club and I can’t wait to be part of it.

“There’s an unbelievable group here and if I can come in and add the quality that I know I’m capable of, I’m sure we can give the West Ham fans plenty to be excited about between now and the end of the season.
“Phillips made his international debut in 2020 and won England’s Men’s Player of the Year award in the 2020/2021 season.
He has made 31 appearances for his country, scoring one goal.
The on-loan midfielder could make his West Ham debut at home to AFC Bournemouth on Thursday 1 February.
