Sad News From Milwaukee Bucks…

To a certain extent, I guess you could say that Thanasis Antetokounmpo is an important member of the Milwaukee Bucks squad.
He may not be the most talented player on the roster, but he definitely brings a lot of energy every single game, albeit on the bench.
More importantly, this dude plays a crucial role in making sure that his younger brother Giannis remains happy in Milwaukee.
As it turns out, though, at least three NBA players see much more value in Thanasis than we all do.
Antetokounmpo entered the evening with averages of 31.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per contest while shooting 60.7% from the field in 43 games.
The two-time MVP remains among the seven best players in the league, and has led the Bucks to the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 31-14 record in their first 45 games.
That said, they are coming off a 112-100 loss (at home) to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In 36 minutes of playing time, Antetokounmpo had 22 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists, one steal and one block while shooting 9/13 from the field.
Following the Pelicans, the Bucks will visit Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets on Monday evening in Colorado.
Antetokounmpo was the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and has spent his entire 11-year career with the Bucks.
They have made the NBA playoffs in each of the previous seven seasons and won the 2021 title over the Phoenix Suns.
