SAD NEWS: New York Giants announced that Saquon Barkley is leaving immediately after facing…

The New York Giants are facing the strong possibility that running back Saquon Barkley will not return next season.
If Barkley and the Giants are unable to agree to a new contract and the Giants don’t use the franchise tag on him, several teams could be in the running for his services.
The Tennessee Titans will be looking for a replacement for running back Derrick Henry as the veteran running back is set to become a free agent this offseason.
Henry rushed for the second-lowest yardage total in the last five seasons.
The Titans will likely have a young and unproven starting quarterback next season and could use a workhorse at running back like they had when Henry was in his prime.
The Chicago Bears are believed to be leaning toward drafting a quarterback with the first overall pick.
Whether they decide to do so or stick with Justin Fields, the Bears could surely use Barkley’s talent, as Fields was the team’s leading rusher this season.
That isn’t a recipe for success, no matter who they decide to play as quarterback next season.
The Dallas Cowboys signing Barkley makes sense for many reasons. It would give the Cowboys the big-name running back they haven’t had since Ezekiel Elliot.
The Cowboys have historically had a running back that resembles Barkley.
Barkley, Elliot, Marion Barber, Joseph Randle, Tony Pollard, and Demarco Murray are all built similarly.
The Cowboys would love to take Barkley’s talent from a division rival, possibly even if it meant paying Barkley the type of contract they refused to pay Pollard last off-season.
