ANNOUNCEMENT: Georgia Bulldogs Has Suspended QB Carson Beck Today

The NFL concluded its conference championships this weekend with the Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransico 49ers both advancing to Super Bowl LVIII.
This means that for the 23rd season in a row, the Georgia Bulldogs will have at least one player appear in the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs, who are appearing in their third Super Bowl in four years contain the two former Bulldogs, Mecole Hardman and Malik Herring.
The two Chief teammates were once college teammates under Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart and helped their Bulldog team advance to the 2018 national championship.
There are eight Georgia Bulldogs in the NFL that are expected to suit up in the conference championship games this Sunday. Overall, 33 total Georgia Bulldogs were on NFL rosters for the start of the postseason.
Three former Bulldogs will be playing for the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game. There are no former Dawgs on the Detroit Lions, who are playing at San Francisco in the NFC title game.
Additionally, five former Bulldogs are playing in the AFC championship game as the Kansas City Chiefs travel to face the Baltimore Ravens.
Two former Georgia coaches are coordinators on the Ravens’ coaching staff.
The Super Bowl is guaranteed to have at least two Georgia Bulldogs in it.
