Ladd McConkey Has Been Departed From Georgia Bulldogs Today

Former college players have filtered down to Mobile, Alabama for the annual Senior Bowl.
Several former Bulldogs made the trip this year and one of them is already making a lot of noise after just one day.
Wide receiver Ladd McConkey got the opportunity to show off his skillset in a 1 on 1 drill and it didn’t take long for the former Bulldog to start trending on the internet.
McConkey became one of the most reliable receivers in Georgia’s offense for the last three seasons.
Whether it was taking the top off the defense for a deep shot or creating yards after the catch off a screen pass, McConkey was always making plays for the Bulldogs.
Now as an NFL draft prospect, many are intrigued about McConkey.
He is a bit undersized but it’s hard to ignore what he did in Athens for the last years and what he is doing at the Senior Bowl now.
NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah recently released a top 50 prospects rankings list and McConkey fell in at no. 44.
It’s still unsure where exactly McConkey will fall in the draft order but the consensus seems to be that his ceiling is a mid-second pick and likely won’t fall past the fourth round of the draft.
Being at an event like the Senior Bowl will certainly help McConkey’s chances of being taken earlier in the draft.
There’s still quite some time before the NFL draft arrives, but McConkey’s draft campaign is off to a great start.
