JUST NOW: Chicago Bears head coach final decision-making on his two key players due to…….

The 2024 Senior Bowl kicks off this week, marking the unofficial start of draft season, where NFL teams will get a glimpse of some of the nation’s top talent.
General manager Ryan Poles and people from his personnel department are expected to be in Mobile, Ala., this week to watch practices and meet with prospects.
The Bears will also have several assistant coaches coaching different position groups at the Senior Bowl: New quarterbacks coach Kerry Joseph coaching QBs for the American Team, tight ends coach Jim Dray coaching the offensive line for the National Team, assistant defensive line coach Justin Hinds coaching the defensive line for the American Team and assistant Kenny Norton III coaching the defensive backs for the American Team.
There’s a good chance that a few members of Chicago’s draft class are participating in the Senior Bowl this week.
Here’s a look at the five players the Bears drafted — or signed as undrafted free agents — who participated in the Senior Bowl last year.
The Bears drafted Darnell Wright with the 10th overall pick, and he proved to be an integral piece of their offensive line during his rookie season.
Wright started all 17 games as a rookie.
Although he fell short of playing 100 percent of snaps, Wright only missed five snaps when he injured his shoulder against the Raiders in Week 7.
Wright was Chicago’s only offensive lineman who started every game, playing 99.56 percent of snaps, which was the most of any Bears player on offense and defense.
While Wright had some expected rookie struggles as he acclimated to the pro game, there’s no doubt Chicago made the right decision to draft him as he’s showing promise to be a franchise right tackle.
