The younger brother of Joe Flacco agrees to a new professional contract…..
The Cleveland Browns became one of the best feel-good stories of the 2024 NFL season as they overcame injuries to numerous players to make the playoffs.
The Browns came into the regular season with Super Bowl hopes and had the talent to get there, but ill-timed injuries to players like Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson hurt their chances.
But Joe Flacco was able to unite Cleveland, and the team won some exciting games during the regular season.
Flacco, who is 39 years old, has shown that he still has some gas left in the tank and ought to have a good number of backup options.
It’s possible that the veteran will rejoin the Browns, but it’s also possible that another team will claim him.
While Flacco will not sign until free agency, Tom, his brother, has been added to a new UFL team through Benjamin Allbright.
“We’ve signed Flacco.” Joe’s younger brother, Tom Flacco, is joining the new UFL in San Antonio,” tweeted Allbright.
Tom spent several seasons in the CFL with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Ottawa Redblacks, and most recently, he played in the XFL with the Houston Roughnecks.
Tom plays quarterback for the San Antonio Brahmas in the new UFL, just like his older brother.
As a college signal caller, Tom was in and out of the lineup for Western Michigan, Rutgers, and Towson.
Joe will have the opportunity to watch his younger brother play in a professional league once more because football is a family sport.
The more intriguing tale, though, is where Joe finds up after free agency is formally implemented.
