Goff’s partnership with offensive coordinator Ben Johnson has been fruitful over the last two seasons. The offense has performed at an elite level, one that can be sustained with Johnson electing to come back for another year at the helm.
Now, the veteran passer has cemented himself as the team’s quarterback of the future and will likely sign an extension this offseason. However, the extension as well as the lack of an experienced backup on roster create intrigue at the position heading into 2024
