ANNOUNCEMENT: D’Andre Swift, Announces Resignation And Departure From Philadelphia Eagles Today

Now that Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce’s fame has extended far beyond the NFL, he would welcome the opportunity to follow in his brother’s footsteps as the host of an episode of Saturday Night Live.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Kelce said he is “obviously” open to hosting SNL if the opportunity presents itself.
“Of course, I love ‘SNL,'” he explained. “It’s one of the shows I grew up watching, an iconic show of great proportions and hilarity.
Yeah, I would obviously do it. I was fortunate to watch Travis do it last year and really see what all goes into it.
I came away beyond impressed with all the people involved in making that show work and all the talent that was there.
Travis Kelce hosted the show on March 4, 2023, only three weeks after the Chiefs defeated the Eagles in Super Bowl 57.
He was the first professional athlete to host SNL since J.J. Watt on Feb. 1, 2020.
It can be argued that was the moment Travis Kelce was elevated from NFL star to mainstream celebrity.
He parlayed that into endorsement deals with Bud Light, State Farm and Pfizer.
The State Farm commercials are a Kelce family affair, with Jason and their mother, Donna, featured in some of the spots.
The New Heights podcast hosted by Jason and Travis launched in September 2022, but its profile grew significantly during the 2023 season thanks in part to Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift.
Jason has the right type of personality to host a show like Saturday Night Live.
He’s shown a great sense of humor and isn’t afraid to do anything, based on his celebration when Travis scored a touchdown in the AFC Divisional Round against the Buffalo Bills.
