Penn State has three wide receivers committed in its Class of 2026, but the Nittany Lions still have several lines in the water heading into spring. One of Marques Hagans’ top targets has now set up an official visit for the summer.
Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith four-star wideout Travis Johnson announced on Sunday afternoon that he’ll be in Happy Valley the weekend of June 6.
It’s his fourth announced official visit, as South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Indiana have trips planned at this point.
He’ll be at South Carolina the weekend of May 31, Penn State the weekend of June 6 and Virginia Tech the weekend of June 20. Johnson said the date of his Indiana visit is still in the works.
Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Texas A&M, Virginia and West Virginia, where Johnson’s father Tory played and his older brother TJ is a redshirt sophomore receiver, also remain in the mix for an official visit.
Johnson visited Michigan earlier this month and took in games at Michigan, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and West Virginia in the fall.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Johnson has been mostly focused on basketball this winter.
On the gridiron, Johnson helped lead Oscar Smith to a 17-0 record and a state championship in 2024.
He caught 53 passes and scored 15 touchdowns as a junior, earning All-State honors along the way.
