Despite he’s leaving Atalanta Falcons today ‘Disappointment will be on Raheem Morris

The in-state Atlanta Falcons are entering into a new era after the hiring of Raheem Morris as head coach.
Morris replaces Arthur Smith, who was fired this offseason after three disappointing seasons.
Morris met with the media on Tuesday in Indianapolis as the NFL prepares to host its annual Combine.
Most of the nation’s top 2024 NFL draft prospects will preform throughout the week.
A reporter asked Morris about acclimating to his new state with Kirby Smart and Georgia football just 80 miles away from Atlanta.
He noted the “jealous” relationship he has with Smart, pointing towards the level of success UGA has had during Smart’s tenure in Athens.
Georgia fans who also support the Falcons have grown tired of Atlanta electing to pass on the talent UGA has put through the draft.
Georgia boasts 34 draft picks over the last three drafts, the most ever from a single program in a three-year stretch.
In last year’s first round, the Falcons passed on star defensive lineman Jalen Carter, who ultimately went to the Philadelphia with the next pick.
The Falcons chose running back Bijan Robinson instead.
Offensive lineman Justin Shaffer and tight end John Fitzpatrick are the last Bulldogs to be taken by Atlanta (2022).
For the third year in-a-row, the Falcons hold the No. 8 overall pick in this year’s draft, which will likely be used to take a quarterback.
Atlanta also holds pick No. 43, pick No. 74, pick No. 79, pick No. 109, pick No. 141 and pick No. 198.
11 Bulldogs will take part in this week’s Combine. Georgia will hold its Pro Day on Wednesday, March 13. The 2024 NFL draft will take place from April 25-27 in Detroit.
