But the Rangers striker showed he’s a thoroughly decent guy off it after paying for fans’ haircuts.

Dessers was in Glasgow’s EX Studio for a fresh trim and got talking to fellow punters who were in for their own haircuts.

And when they finished, Dessers insisted he would take care of it for them and cover their bill.

The punters showed their appreciation as they left, with Dessers only too happy to put his hands in his pocket, but urged them to use their own money to have a good time.

He told staff in the hairdressers during his own cut: “Hey dude, I’ll take care of it for these guys. Sure yeah, for Rangers fans – for young Rangers fans. Enjoy.

Do something fun with it though. It’s no problem, I got you. You guys have a nice day.”

Rangers International Football Club, celebrities, top personalities and fans will today (Tuesday) honour the late Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu with a novelty match for his astonishing comedy career during his lifetime.

Rangers FC, the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League champions, will participate in the highly anticipated match amidst the euphoria of their recent victory.

The event is organized as part of the late actor’s burial plans.

This was according to a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Tuesday, by the Chairman, of the Central Planning Committee for Mr Ibu’s burial, Monday Ani.
