Very Bad News: Milwaukee Brewers Head Coach Angry and Announced resignation immediately….

After trading away ace Corbin Burnes this past week, the Milwaukee Brewers may not be done moving pieces.
Per general manager Matt Arnold:
“I’m certainly open to more conversations,” Arnold said. “I certainly wouldn’t shut any conversations down at this point in the offseason.”
That doesn’t mean that the Brewers are actively looking to move key players, but it also doesn’t mean the team is fully committed to the roster it has right now, either.
The Brewers won the National League Central last season and have made the playoffs in five of the last six years.
While the Cincinnati Reds are a very interesting team heading into 2024, the division still appears up for grabs.
If the Brewers were to trade any other key pieces, you’d have to think they’d be looking for guys who are major league ready and who can help the team remain in play for the playoffs again in 2024.
With that in mind, it’s fair to acknowledge that the Brewers are clearly a roster in transition.
They traded away Burnes and reliable starter Adrian Houser this offseason.
They also non-tendered longtime ace Brandon Woodruff and then saw Mark Canha and Carlos Santana exit the playoff roster from a season ago.
Manager Craig Counsell also bolted this offseason.
The Brewers have a lot of young talent including uber-prospect Jackson Chourio, so everything just may coalesce for them, but if they do make the playoffs, it will be with a different cast of characters.
