Luke Metcalf, a playmaker for the Warriors, has extended his contract with the team for two more years, keeping him with them through the end of the 2026 campaign.

The 25-year-old, who came to the Warriors from the Sharks in 2023, has played in 21 games for the team, starting the first two games of the season for the Warriors at five-eighth.

The announcement follows the club’s two-year contract extension of 23-year-old hooker Freddy Lussick, who will stay a Warrior through the end of 2026.

The 22-year-old will play the remaining games of the 2024 Championship season with Bradford at the request of Fulton and his management.

Izack Tago, a two-time premiership-winning Panther, has agreed to a new three-year contract that will keep him at Penrith through the end of the 2028 campaign.

The news was released barely two days before the 21-year-old is scheduled to play in his 50th NRL game on Friday night at BlueBet Stadium against the Eels.

South Sydney released 24-year-old Suluka-Fifita from the last two years of his contract, and he will now play two years at Belmore.
