According to reports, Tre’Davious White, a former cornerback for the Buffalo Bills, will face the Tennessee Titans.
The veteran free agent will meet with the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday and then visit the Titans and New York Giants later in the week, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
After spending seven seasons with the Buffalo Bills and earning two Pro Bowl selections as well as a first-team All-Pro selection, White, now 29 years old, was once thought to be the best player at his position in the NFL.
However, recent injuries have disrupted his career; in 2021 and 2023, the LSU product suffered a ruptured left ACL and a damaged right Achilles.
White is definitely worth a shot for Tennessee, a team in need of a second starter on the boundary, assuming he’ll be inexpensive and on a one-year contract.
There’s a high chance Tennessee targets a cornerback in this year’s draft, which could act as both an insurance policy for White and a potential long-term solution all in one shot. The Titans’ chances of dealing for L’Jarius Sneed appear to be fading.
