“I M LEAVING: defensive coordinator Luke Getsy has announced that he is leaving the Las Vegas Raiders after facing….

Davante Adams, a wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, has had a quiet offseason. He may not have participated in the team’s summer activities, but he’s probably keeping a closer eye on their quarterback issue than anybody else.

The Raiders signed Gardner Minshew in free agency and are still under contract with Aidan O’Connell. Despite the fact that they are both competent quarterbacks, neither one makes a significant difference for the squad. Jayden Daniels, the 2023 Heisman Trophy winner, has frequently been associated with Las Vegas.

A photo of Daniels holding up his Heisman Trophy was recently uploaded by Adams on his Instagram story. Adams remained silent, but the post undoubtedly caused some controversy.

Because the Raiders’ quarterback play has been uneven, Adams suffered his worst statistical season since 2019. He appears to be committed to the team’s success in identifying the ideal quarterback, and Daniels appears to be that quarterback.

The main issue for Las Vegas is that Daniels is probably going to be selected in the top three. The Raiders will need to trade up to get the quarterback because they don’t have a pick until No. 13. Said simply, it’s not easily done.

Although Davante Adams joined the Raiders to play alongside Derek Carr, the organization let the quarterback go during the previous summer. The previous season, when Jimmy Garoppolo was benched and Aidan O’Connell took over at quarterback, the team’s quarterback situation was difficult.

In order for the team to select C.J. Stroud, who went on to win Offensive Rookie of the Year with the Houston Texans, Adams was hammering the table. He seems to feel the same way this year about Jayden Daniels.

During the January 18 episode of “Two G’s in a Pod,” Adams stated, “I think based off the situation last year, I paid a little bit more attention to where Bryce [Young] and C.J. [Stroud] were playing.” It was a little bit simpler to focus on them. I’m not fantastic with college football, but Jayden Daniels caught my eye.
