Andrew Carr, a power forward, arrives to Kentucky from Wake Forest.

When Wake Forest forward Andrew Carr committed to the Wildcats on Sunday night, Kentucky received its third pledge in as many days.

Carr went with Mark Pope’s program instead of Villanova and Texas Tech.

Carr, a 6-foot-10 power forward, will provide Lexington with an inside-outside skill set. During the previous season, he shot over 37% from three point range and averaged 13.5 points and 6.8 rebounds for Wake Forest. In the NIT versus Georgia, he finished his career with the Demon Deacons with a 31-point, 11-rebound performance.

After going for 17 points and 12 rebounds in the CAA title game against UNCW, Carr finished his two seasons at Delaware, where he assisted in leading the Fightin’ Blue Hens to the NCAA tournament in 2022.

Carr commits this past weekend, making him Kentucky’s sixth player on the squad. Guard Lamont Butler of San Diego State committed to the Wildcats on Friday, while Otega Oweh, a transfer from Oklahoma, did the same on Saturday.

Amari Williams, a Drexel transfer, ESPN 100 guard Travis Perry, a former top-50 recruit who committed to Pope at BYU before taking a two-year mission, and freshman guard Collin Chandler, a former top-50 recruit who committed to Kentucky under John Calipari, round out the current roster.
