Shocking: Alabama key player shocked fans with immediate resignation and exit today after facing….

The recruiting rundown: Alabama’s top quarterback prospect is helping the team gain momentum.

Several prospects attended the Crimson Tide’s scrimmage on Thursday.

Despite the Easter holiday break for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, it was a busy week at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility. Throughout the week, the team had a number of prospects on campus, but on Thursday, in particular, a large number of visitors came to observe the Tide’s first scrimmage under new head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Luke Metz committed to Alabama on Sunday, giving the Crimson Tide a winning start to the recruiting road. In the current cycle, Metz committed to Alabama for the eighth time, helping the Tide rank sixth overall in the recruiting class.

There are four linebackers, a running back, a receiver, a defensive lineman, and a cornerback in Alabama’s Class of 2025. Given the difficult task of assessing and building relationships for a new program, DeBoer and his team are off to a decent start. Bringing in a top-tier quarterback seems to be the staff’s next big step.

On Thursday, the Crimson Tide welcomed five-star prospect Julian “Ju-Ju” Lewis, who is at least ten years old, for his second visit to Tuscaloosa. Despite his continuous flirtation with the Crimson Tide, Lewis, a Carrollton High School graduate, is still firmly devoted to the USC Trojans.

DeBoer isn’t just testing out Lewis as a QB prospect According to On3 Sports, Matt Zollers, a 4-star prospect from Pennsylvania, will be in Tuscaloosa on Monday. Alabama will probably step up their recruitment of 6-foot-4 rising junior quarterback Faizon Brandon, who is ranked No. 5 in the Class of 2026, if they wind up missing out in the Class of 2025.
