“I AM LEAVING”: Mike Vrabel angry and announced resignation and departure from Cleveland Browns today due to the team affairs….
The former head coach of the Titans travels to Las Vegas to celebrate his new position with the Cleveland Browns.
The former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is preparing to take on a new position with the Cleveland Browns as a consultant. Vrabel was seen having fun with a game of craps at the Wynn in Las Vegas to celebrate his new endeavor.
After his time with the Titans, Vrabel had more time on his hands, and he appeared to be enjoying himself at the tables even though he wasn’t winning much. He seemed to be alone himself, but observers saw him playing with an iced beverage.
The Titans had a middling 2023 campaign, placing last in the AFC South with a 6-11 record. Vrabel was fired from his position as coach of the year in 2021 due to the team’s subpar play.
Vrabel joined the Browns team earlier this summer as a consultant to head coach Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry after failing to secure a position during the NFL’s most recent head coach hiring cycle. After it was anticipated that Vrabel would be in high demand on the coaching market, the decision was made.
Vrabel was quickly brought on by the Browns, who saw him as an invaluable asset for both coaching and personnel choices. Remarking that he has grown close to Vrabel over the years, Stefanski voiced his pleasure about having him on board.
The Browns’ roster and game plan have been developed together, as stressed by Stefanski and Berry, and Vrabel’s signing provides another seasoned perspective. The Browns are expecting to assemble a winning squad for the 2017 season with Vrabel’s experience and wisdom, plus the extra benefit of having him work for the team he grew up rooting for.
The former Titans head coach can reflect on his vacation to Las Vegas as an enjoyable and laid-back approach to mark the start of a new chapter in his football career as he gets ready for his new position with the Browns.
