ESPN REPORT: Another Strong Talented player commits to Chicago bears.

2024 NFL Draft: After the whirlwind of free agency, the first-round order and top five needs for each of the 32 teams
As the free agency frenzy has subsided, the immediate and long-term requirements for each of the 32 teams are becoming clearer as we approach the 2024 NFL Draft, which will take place in Detroit from April 25–27.
The top five needs for each team are listed here, along with the current Round 1 order.
The Justin Fields deal to Pittsburgh ensures that Chicago will select a quarterback with the first overall pick, most likely Caleb Williams of USC. Keenan Allen, a veteran receiver who attended Williams’ pro day, was acquired to ease the rookie’s transition to the NFL. DJ Moore, who was involved in the trade with Carolina last year for the 2023 first overall pick, will also be involved. However, the Bears could use a left tackle to rival Braxton Jones and additional receiver depth. Chicago would gain strength on defense by adding an edge rusher to go along with Montez Sweat and a quarterback-chasing defensive line.
With Caleb Williams likely taken by the Bears at No. 1 overall, the Commanders will select from the remaining quarterback prospects. Sam Howell’s trade to Seattle increased their picks in the fourth and sixth rounds to third and fifth round selections, respectively, which may help them acquire an offensive tackle, receiver, or tight end. Even after moving from Dallas to the nation’s capital with Dorance Armstrong and Dante Fowler Jr., defensive-minded head coach Dan Quinn is constantly searching for quick edge rushers. Although they won’t pass on a possible starter, the team added two free-agent corners, James Pierre and Michael Davis, to provide depth.
With Bailey Zappe projecting as an NFL backup and Mac Jones currently in Jacksonville, the Patriots will probably select a third quarterback with their first pick. With Trent Brown moving in free agency, the team will need a new starting left tackle, and the unnamed signal-caller likely won’t mind if they choose a different receiver. After placing the transition tag on safety Kyle Dugger and re-signing several important defenders, New England’s new management may also acquire a defensive tackle and a corner to complement 2025 free agents Christian Barmore and Davon Godchaux.
