BREAKING NEWS: BUFFALO BILLS HAVE ANNOUNCE THAT SOME OF THEIR PLAYER ARE ON SUSPENSION …………..

The Stefon Diggs era is over in Buffalo.
The Bills traded the All-Pro wide receiver, a 2024 sixth-round pick and 2025-fifth round pick to the Houston Texans for a 2025 second-round pick (which is originally from the Minnesota Vikings).
There is no shortage of talking points surrounding a deal such as this, which, along with a few other choice moves this offseason, signals a new direction for the Bills. Why? What’s next? What does it all mean? The Athletic’s Tim Graham and Joe Buscaglia discuss
Buscaglia: It was a combination of several nuanced factors. The Bills needed to feel like their roster and cap position were in a good enough spot to take on an additional almost $4 million of dead cap to move on from him. The compensation had to be good enough for them to move on, and while there is some projection required with the Vikings’ 2024 season, the Bills likely feel good about that pick turning into an early second-round pick. But outside of some of the drama that followed Diggs, the biggest reason this trade happened was the Bills maximizing their return of what they could have gotten next year had they held on, while clearing all $27 million of his cap hit in 2025 off their books. Now the Bills are in a much more competitive position to be offseason players in 2025 as they use 2024 as a mini-reset year to fix their salary cap while attempting to remain competitive.
Graham: The Bills don’t view Diggs as a consummate No. 1 receiver anymore and wanted to turn the page.
