It’s probable that the 49ers want to add more players to the right side of their offensive line this season given the success they had with Jon Feliciano the previous season and the fact that they re-signed him this offseason.

The 49ers offensive line’s right side has been frail and tiny for many years.

The left side is powerful and large. Aaron Banks and Trent Williams are both at least 320 pounds in weight. They move individuals about by pushing them. On the other hand, the offensive line’s right side has usually been significantly lighter. At one point, Mike McGlinchey weighed less than 290 pounds. Spencer Burford and Colton McKivitz are each 300 pounds in weight.
