WORRISOME sad NEWS: Broncos injury crisis deepens…

Brisbane’s injury crisis may have deepened with a cloud hanging over young gun five-eighth Ezra Mam.
Mam limped off the training field on Monday, according to 9News reporter Jonathan Uptin.
The Broncos were already without fullback Reece Walsh, backrower Brendan Piakura, and superstar prop Payne Haas.
They then lost halfback and captain Adam Reynolds and young winger Deine Mariner during Thursday’s chaotic loss to Melbourne.
Mam took the reins of the team against the Storm after Reynolds hobbled off at half time and failed to return to the field.
He scored a brilliant solo try to keep his team in the game, but ultimately they fell short 34-32 at AAMI Park.
The Broncos face the Dolphins in a Brisbane derby this week before a tricky run of games that includes the Raiders, Tigers, Roosters, Eels, and Sea Eagles leading up to the State of Origin period.
Mam scored three tries in last year’s NRL grand final against Penrith.
He then inked a lucrative five-year contract extension with the Broncos.
The Broncos are trying to manage another injury to their halves pairing as Ezra Mam was seen limping out of training with Adam Reynolds already set to miss a number of weeks with a hamstring strain. Broncos fans became worried last Thursday when Reynolds limped off at half-time and didn’t return.
The 33-year-old suffered a hamstring injury and will be another major absentee to the team who have missed a number of superstars in recent weeks. And fans will be closely following the fitness of Mam with the superstar five-eighth limping off the training field on Monday.
