A SAD NEWS FROM BUFFALO BILLS: HE MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY AGAIN DUE TO THE INJURY THAT HE IS HAVING…………..

The Buffalo Bills have continued their depth additions along the offensive line with La’el Collins.

Another free agent has signed with Buffalo as Collins has inked a one-year deal with the Bills.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound 30-year-old was an undrafted signee of the Dallas Cowboys in 2015, he later inked a big contract with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Considering his visibility in stints with some of those top AFC and NFC clubs, and as one of the top players at his position, Bills fans may want to get to know their new lineman better.

With that, here are eight things to know about the new Bills offensive tackle

Collins offers a low-risk-high-upside and can compete for a starting spot, play an important depth and rotation role, or both throughout the upcoming season should he remain healthy. For his part, it provides a chance to re-establish himself.

Collins missed the 2023 season after suffering an ACL and MCL tear only a year into a newly minted five-year, $50 million deal with AFC rival Cincinnati. His addition could also offer Buffalo’s defense some insight into attacking the Bengals’ offense in the future.

Before that, he was a starter for his first six seasons in the NFL with Dallas. He was one of the top players at his position and has experience playing at both left and right guard. That could translate into rotation time, backup, and even competition for fellow linemen Spencer Brown and David Edwards.

It turns out Collins already has something in common with his new teammates on offense, quarterback Josh Allen and tight end Dawson Knox.

The Bills newest free-agent addition has a history of putting opponents on the ground with his strength.

He’s such a fan of pancake blocks in fact, that he even had custom cleats made to highlight his affinity for trucking defenders.
