Milwaukee Brewers

SAD NEWS: After quarreling with the head coach star player makes shocking announcement today….

The Cincinnati Reds home game Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers has been delayed by adverse weather.

The game is expected to be played tonight, but no estimated start time has been announced yet.

The Reds said around 7 p.m. that they were estimating the game could start around 8:30 p.m.

It’s the third game of a scheduled four-game series between the National League Central rivals.

The Reds won the opener 10-8 on Monday; the Brewers won Tuesday 9-5.

Wednesday’s game was originally scheduled to start at 6:40 p.m.

The Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds now have a tentative starting time of 7:30 p.m. for tonight’s matchup at Great American Ball Park.

Veteran left-hander Wade Miley is scheduled to make his first start of 2024 for the Brewers.

To open a spot on the 26-man roster for him, Milwaukee optioned right-hander Kevin Herget to Class AAA Nashville.

Greene opens another inning by hitting a batter, this time Perkins.

He then steals second, goes to third on a Joey Ortiz single and scores on a Jackson Chourio sacrifice fly.

The Brewers have also been playing some great defense behind Miley, with Jake Bauers and Ortiz both making standout plays on sharp grounders in the third.

Greene hit Bauers to open the second. Then with two outs, Brice Turang, Chourio and William Contreras each singled on consecutive pitches to plate three more runs and up Milwaukee’s lead to 5-0.

After a delay of 1 hour 50 minutes, Chourio drew a leadoff walk, advanced to second on a groundout and scored on a home run to right by Yelich.
