Dante Maddox Jr. won’t be the only transfer paying a visit to the Louisville men’s basketball program this weekend.

Former South Florida guard Chris Youngblood and former Florida Atlantic guard Nick Boyd will both be taking a visit to the Cardinals this weekend, according to Rivals‘ Ty Spalding.

It was reported earlier in the week that Maddox, a Second-Team All-MAC selection this past season from Toledo, would also be paying a visit to campus this weekend.

Youngblood, a 6-foot-4, 218-pound shooting guard, was one of the top mid-major players in college basketball this past season.

Playing in all 33 of USF’s games with 32 starts, he averaged a team-best 15.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, while shooting 45.8 percent from the field and a blazing 41.6 percent on three-point attempts.

As a result, he was named the Co-American Athletic Conference Player of the Year alongside FAU’s Johnell Davis, who Louisville is also involved with.

Youngblood was the catalyst behind South Florida going 25-8 this season, which was their most wins in school history and included the AAC regular season championship.

The Tuscaloosa, Ala. native spent the first three years of his collegiate career with Kennesaw State, only making the jump to USF when KSU head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim took over the Bulls.

Youngblood was double-digit scorer in all three seasons with the Owls, totaling 1,227 points, 398 rebounds, 137 assists and 201 made threes in 89 total games with Kennesaw State.
