Billy Richmond, a forward committed to Kentucky, has resumed recruiting.
Forward commitment from Kentucky Billy Richmond is currently accepting new applicants.
With John Calipari as the Kentucky coach, Richmond, 6-6, 200, of Camden, N.J., selected the Wildcats over Memphis, Alabama, and LSU in December.
On April 10, Calipari made his formal debut as Arkansas’s new head coach.
While playing for the N.J. Scholars on the Nike EYBL circuit last year, Richmond—a unanimous 4-star recruit—averaged 17.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 60% from two-point range.
In 2003 and 2004, his father performed in Memphis for Calipari.
Now, five out of the six students in the Kentucky 2024 class have decided to open applications again. In the Wildcats’ 2024 class, only guard signee Travis Perry of Eddyville, Kentucky, is still available.
