Hercy Miller says Goodbye as he confirms this will be his last season at Louisville as he is now going to….

The Cardinals have hosted several transfer prospects and the staff has also visited a few younger high school prospects, including two in-state stars. On Monday, Kelsey and two assistants met with Great Crossing standout 2025 player Malachi Moreno and offered him during the visit to Georgetown, Ky.

The U of L coaches also made a trip to Versailles to visit with the parents of top-10 2025 target Jasper Johnson.

The former Woodford County High School star is still in Branson, Mo., at Link Academy where he played this past season.

But Kelsey and the assistants met for over two hours on Monday night with Johnson’s parents.

And his father, Dennis Johnson, was impressed.

“I like coach a whole lot and his staff,” said Johnson, a former standout football player at Kentucky and is the current athletic director and football coach at Woodford County.

“I like his energy. He’s not afraid of anybody. I like his energy and his commitment. He’s committed to getting them back to where they need to be at Louisville.”

Dennis Johnson said he told Kelsey that the family would make an unofficial visit to U of L at some point in May.

When Jasper gets back, we’ll go watch them workout, check them out, and just see,” Dennis Johnson said. “I really liked them.”

The 6-foot-5 Johnson is ranked as the No. 10 player nationally in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports.

He checks in as the No. 1 player in the state of Missouri and the No. 2 combo guard in the nation.

He averaged around 15 points and three rebounds a game in his first season at Link.
