A VERY GOOD FROM GEORGIA BULLDOGS TODAY……….

After De’Shayne Montgomery made his transfer to UGA official on Thursday, another Mount St. Mary’s player has included the Bulldogs in his top six and announced an upcoming visit. Graduate transfer Dakota Leffew has will visit UGA on Monday, as the Dawgs will join Villanova, Syracuse, and South Carolina among the schools Leffew has visited. He has also remained in contact with Xavier and Pittsburgh.

Leffew is a 6-foot-5, 185 pound guard, originally from Hampton, Georgia. He spent four years with the Mountaineers, playing in a total of 99 games. He had his best statistical season a year ago, scoring 17.6 points per game along with 4.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists. He scored 26 points with three rebounds and five assists in the matchup between Mount St. Mary’s and the Bulldogs this past seasons.

Leffew would add another major transfer piece for Mike White and the Bulldogs’ basketball team, still looking to fill out multiple holes in their roster including numerous from players who have entered the portal in recent weeks. He would join Montgomery at helping to reload a guard room that has multiple vacancies to fill from a year ago, including leading scorer Noah Thomasson.

After Ole Miss started 2-1 in SEC play in an eye-opening series win over the now-projected regional host South Carolina Gamecocks, the Rebels have gone 4-10 within the conference.

The window of opportunity for another statement series win to cement a postseason berth is closing. The series against Alabama will be one of the year’s biggest series, as it seems like another do-or-die matchup.

The Rebels were only able to claim one win this weekend in Athens, and here are three takeaways from the series loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.
