Parker Brailsford Am Sorry: reason why i left Alabama Crimson Tide today….

Coach Kalen DeBoer says Alabama center Parker Brailsford is still expected to stay with the Crimson Tide even though he hasn’t been practicing with the team recently. Though he hasn’t played in more than a week, Washington transfer Brailsford is vying for the starting center spot.

Before the team’s spring game on April 13, DeBoer gave an official report on Brailsford’s condition on Saturday.

“Parker will be with us as he’s going through some non-football-related things,” DeBoer stated. He’s been doing a terrific job working out with our strength staff. He has not committed any wrongdoing. It isn’t at all like that. He is putting in a lot of effort at work. He will be prepared to go as soon as possible. It has nothing to do with transfers or anything similar.

James Brockermeyer, a redshirt junior, has more work to do with the starting group as a result of Brailsford’s recent absence. Last season, Brockermeyer was a reserve center who mostly filled the No. 3 spot behind Darrian Dalcourt and Seth McLaughlin. He put on nearly ten pounds in the off-season.

and is making the most of his spring practice opportunities thus far. He weighs about 295 pounds presently.

“I’ve grown bigger and stronger this offseason, which is always the goal in the offseason, especially for me,” Brockermeyer stated. Naturally, one of an O-lineman’s main traits is to always strive to get stronger and bigger. The ability to pick up the system is also always crucial. High-level competency allows you to play more quickly, make decisions, and include other players in your play.

Although Brailsford is a long-term member of the team, his availability for Saturday’s A-Day is uncertain. Early in spring practice, offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic declared that he needs eight to ten players who can snap at any time. More information regarding who will contribute depth at the center position will be available on Saturday.

Apart from Brailsford’s status update, the offensive line released other noteworthy news. Jaeden Roberts was seen leaving Alabama’s team scrimmage on crutches following reports of a lower leg injury. DeBoer confirmed this information on Saturday, but he clarified that the injury was not significant.

Jaeden will be alright, according to DeBoer. He may faint here for a little while, but he will recover. We plan to do additional assessments, although preliminary data suggests that they won’t be significant.

One of the positions with the most attention heading into the spring game and the approaching spring transfer portal window, which opens on April 16, is the offensive line. ESPN will air Alabama’s spring game on April 13 at 3 p.m. CT.
