Tar Heels Noah Burnette, Christopher Holliday, Spencer Rolland and Spencer Triplett have been named to the 2024 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF announced on Wednesday.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society is celebrating its 18th year and is comprised of college football players from all divisions who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college career.
A Raleigh native, Burnette is expected to graduate after the spring semester with a degree in exercise science.
He currently holds a 3.58 GPA. Burnette earned second-team All-ACC honors last season after making 19-of-20 field goals and all 43 PATs.
He was also named to the All-ACC Academic team last season.
Holliday, a Morehead-Cain Scholar, will finish his double major in economics and exercise science this spring and currently has a 3.98 GPA.
He’s an All-ACC Academic honoree, an ACC Honor Roll member, a Tar Heel Scholar-Athlete, and is a member of the Dean’s List and the UNC 4.0 Club.
Holliday was a stalwart on UNC’s special teams units having played in all 12 games last season and all 13 in 2023.
A Burnsville, Minn. native, Rolland was a graduate transfer from Harvard, who is working towards his MBA at UNC.
He started 26 games at right tackle for the Tar Heels over his two seasons in Chapel Hill. Rolland earned Honorable Mention All-ACC honors and was a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy in 2023.
