“I AM LEAVING”: Wrexham key player makes a shocking announcement today…..

The former striker for Chesterfield thinks his former team may emulate Wrexham.
Tom Denton thinks Chesterfield can succeed next season, just like Wrexham did.
The Red Dragons were promoted back to League One this season after winning the National League championship in 2023.
Although the Spireites at the Racecourse Ground don’t have the same resources as the Hollywood owners, Denton doesn’t see why they can’t accomplish something comparable.
“I am ecstatic for them,” the former striker for Town stated. “This club is fantastic. I had a great four years there, and I’m glad they’re back where they should be. They may follow each other up with a Wrexham.
After departing the squad, “Dents,” a Blues player from 2018 to 2022, has come back to offer commentary. When his former squad plays on TV, he never fails to watch them.
He returned to Alfreton Town, his former team, after leaving Chesterfield in the summer of 2022. A year later, he joined Guiseley, who placed 10th in the Northern Premier League.
The father of two, who has now played in over 700 games across his 17-year career, isn’t sure what the future holds for him yet, but he doesn’t intend to hang up his boots just yet.
Denton worked as a plasterer before coming to Chesterfield. He has since started his own plastering company and combines that with two nights a week of Guiseley training.
He used to take an afternoon nap before a night game as a professional football player, like other players, but these days he goes straight from work to matches, which he believes really sharpens him.
“Part-time works for me now that I’m getting a little older,” he continued.
