Former linebacker for Auburn After initially committed to NC State, Cam Riley announces his transfer to Florida State.

Cam Riley, a former Auburn linebacker, is transferring to Florida State, Zach Blostein of 247Sports revealed on Wednesday.

Riley had previously committed to NC State in February but had subsequently backed out of his pledge on April 25. This is why Riley has decided to play for Mike Norvell and the Seminoles.

Riley and Donovan Kaufman, the defensive back for Auburn, joined the transfer portal on January 16 after four seasons at Auburn.

Riley made appearances in all 13 of Auburn’s games in 2023, recording one start. Riley finished the previous autumn for the Tigers with 32 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

Riley participated in 46 games during his tenure at Auburn, totaling 120 tackles, 8 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

Riley, an Evergreen native and graduate of Hillcrest High School, was rated as a 4-star linebacker in the 2020 class when he graduated from high school.
