SHOCKING ANNOUNCEMENT: “Adam Reynolds” I will be Leaving Brisbane Broncos……

Brisbane won both games against the Eels in 2023, beating Parra 26-10 in Round 8 and again 54-10 in Round 24.
Brisbane have won three of the past four games against Parramatta, however, it is the Eels that hold a 7-4 lead in the head to head record.
The injury to Mitch Moses has hit the Eels hard with Parra winning just one of five matches without their star halfback.
They now face a new crisis with the King of the West Clint Gutherson now spending an extended time on the sideline with injury.
The Eels have averaged just 17 points per game since the Moses injury as they stuggle to find creative combinations through their spine that can spark them inside their opponents 20m.
Attack is not the only problem for the Eels, allowing an average of 34.35 points per game in their previous 4 matches.
They also concede 6.9 Linebreaks per game, which is the most of any team in the NRL.
Brisbane were embarrassed by the Roosters last week at Suncorp, going down to Easts 40-18, conceding 30+ points to a top four team for the third time this season. The loss also came at huge cost with Adam Reynolds coming out of the game and also losing Jesse Arthurs.
Despite having the majority of the territory, Brisbane’s defensive line was in tatters with the Roosters breaking their line 10 times in the match and putting on 7 tries despite only having 22 tackles inside the Brisbane 20m.
Brisbane are going to have to fight through this period without their main weapon in the territory battle and attacking 20m with Adam Reynolds sidelined for a while.
The Broncos will need to correct their defensive lapses quickly as I cannot see them putting up the same amount of points each game and may also find themselves under more pressure in the absence of the little general’s kicking game.
