SAD NEWS: after quarrelling with the head coach key player makes shocking announcement for……

Dragons coach Shane Flanagan has taken a candid swipe at his former club the Sharks ahead of next weekend’s clash in Cronulla in the wake of a heavy defeat to the Roosters.
The Dragons suffered a humiliating 60-18 loss to the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium on Thursday, the club’s heaviest defeat against the Tricolours.
The Roosters dived over on ten occasions, with halfback Sam Walker notching a career-best 24 points in a dazzling performance.
Speaking to reporters in the post-match press conference, Flanagan confessed: “I couldn’t wait for it to finish, to be honest.”
“We couldn’t handle them, they’ve got some good athletes,” he continued.
“We came back down to earth with a thud.”
Flanagan soon shifted his attention towards next weekend’s clash against the Sharks, a club he was “really interested in beating”.
“That’s been marked in the calendar for a while,” he said.
However, Flanagan quickly denied that coming up against the Sharks, a club he mentored for 185 games between 2010 and 2018, would be an emotional experience for him.
“I won a comp there. I don’t think they’ve won one since, have they?” he quipped.
“It’s not about me. I don’t care about me, and I don’t want it to be about me.
“I want it to be about the team and the club.”
When asked whether he had a point to prove against the Sharks, Flanagan replied: “That was ages ago. I’ve moved on.
“I’ve coached at Manly … worked at Fox, worked on radio.
“I’ve had a good life.”
